Two years ago was the best Christmas...I had all five of my kiddos and their significant others together in my house for a couple of days...pure bliss.
ReplyDeleteYahhh that would be the year we had to spend Christmas day which is our holiday get together at my dad's house instead of my grandma's!! last minute there was a problem with my grandma's oven (god rest her soul) so we had to order take out...it was a lot of fun!!
ReplyDeletewhen I was 7 my whole ENTIRE family would get together for holidays. Every year my great uncle who was more like my grandfather(my grandpa died when I was like 3) dressed up and played Santa Claus for all us kids, the whole schpeel....sat on his lap, told him what we wanted, got a candy cane and a present. This one particular Christmas was the last one I remember with him and he did the whole santa thing and also had a Santa Claus pinata for the kids to take a whack at. He was always all about the kids and the BEST great uncle a kid could EVER ask for. Miss him dearly and all the whole family get togethers.
